Today (28 June 2021), a meeting was held at the investment and export promotion agency between the Agency’s Director, Dejan Pavleski, and the FIC President, Stefan Peter, his associates, the Vice President of the Economy Chamber, Dr. Jelisaveta Georgieva-Jovevska, and the expert and ISO coordinator at the Chamber, Emilija Todorovska. During the meeting, the participants looked into the economic trends, the insights of the foreign investors concerning the business conditions, and the role and significance of the Agency for assisting the existing investors and attracting new ones.
They jointly concluded that it would be of special importance to heighten the cooperation with the local suppliers, with the universities, stimulate the research and development activities, as well as to continuously promote the services to the investors in the post-investment period.
The Foreign Investors Council of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia represents 130 companies with 50,000 employees, working on various activities across the country, delivering a total turnover of €5 billion.
At the meeting, the two institutions agreed to expand the cooperation by setting common targets, priorities and activities for the upcoming period.
